FAER - No Filter [Det Gode Selskab] 01

feeder sound exclusive premiere: FÆR (Argenis Brito & Felipe Valenzuela) – No Filter [Det Gode Selskab]

With releases on Raum Musik, Melisma, Roche Madame and Ottavia Records, Argenis Brito & Felipe Valenzuela have been dropping one amazing track after another under the FÆR alias for quite some time now. The two artists are well-known in the international scene, both being very creative contributors to the music stream that connects producers, DJs, labels and, of course, the people who enjoy house and techno music in various colours and shades.

For this recent composition, they collaborate with the Norwegian imprint Det Gode Selskab for their 2020 Sampler, the first Various Artists compilation in what is set to become an extensive series of contemporary annual samplers to be brought forward by the Oslo-based collective. The material arrives in digital format on Bandcamp and features 15 tracks that go through floating house-infused rhythms, groovy electro cuts, breakbeat and beyond, making the VA a truly genre-bending release.

💥 Let’s start the week with FÆR aka Argenis Brito & Felipe Valenzuela and their swinging track “No Filter” on feeder sound’s exclusive premieres playlist:

Setting off with a permeating bassline and then slowly adding wobbling effects, a crunchy percussion and an ever-evolving jazzy modulation, the arrangement offers a truly dynamic balance while remaining minimalistic and highly engaging. The organic nature of the breakdowns adds even more magic, making the piece a perfect tool for DJs to have prepared for warmed-up dancefloors.

Transitioning between multiple yet related genres, the compilation offers something for everyone to enjoy whilst simultaneously supporting a great cause via music. We invite you to explore all of the tracks for yourself and grab your copy of Det Gode Selskab 2020 Sampler from Bandcamp. Find out more about the project below.

Det Gode Selskab collective stands in unity with a wide array of international artists in order to support the gay, queer, black and alternative communities in Oslo, reigniting the unforgettable history of house music and the effect it had (and still has) on modern dance music. 50% of the donations collected in July through the sampler will work their way towards Black History Month Norway to help them out with the further development of their project.
