We invite you to take yet another energetic ride on the feeder sound podcast series musical carousel with our guests for this Friday, the British duo OdD. Enjoy your weekend starting with this recording to get you in the mood for good times!
Damian Daley and Danny Dixon aka OdD have rightfully earned their reputation in the United Kingdom and beyond, having releases published by labels like Archie Hamilton’s Moscow Records, Julie Marghilano’s Sol Asylum, Fuse London, Castanea, Sports Records and, of course, their own OdD Music and Tapes of Old, where they dropped several amazing productions throughout time. Recently, they’ve announced two materials to arrive soon through one of their imprints in the form of “D Construction” and “The Hexachord” EPs and we’re looking forward to that moment as we know that top-notch minimalistic rhythms and textures are included as we’re well accustomed to.
Damian and Danny joined forces almost 10 years ago and steadily grown a name for themselves with their projects being driven by pure passion for electronic music and a constant exploration of both mixing and production techniques. From London to Berlin, Prague or Rome, the dynamic duo spread their hypnotic vibe making sure that their selections will remain in the partygoers’ memory as a distinct experience for a long time. When it comes to music-making, they are successfully crossing the boundaries between different subgenres of house and techno whilst maintaining the clean-cut arrangements of their outstandingly well-balanced sound.
feeder sound 270 mixed by OdD will take you on a smooth and dynamic ride through the duo’s own productions, going from deep yet engaging rhythms to wobbling cuts and dubby moments. The organic transitions provide a perfect balance as the set flows with ease just a little bit past the 2h mark. Enjoy! ✨
