H:O:M presents uplifting ‘House Lock’ EP on Major Underground

H:O:M – ‘House Lock’ EP [Major Underground]

This production was inspired by the current situation we are living and aims to reflect the reality of music artists at these times. The set is led by ‘A’ Detroit’, as the title suggests, is a dark Detroit house groove, featuring snare drums, claps and higher-pitched percussion beats, revealing H:O:M musical background.

‘Give It To Me’ follows, a snappy percussion, funky guitars and a range of crossing vocal samples accompany a funky groove. Title track ‘House Lock’, rich in drum beats and claps that meet a deep hypnotic sound, subtly unveils Kerri Chandler influence in H:O:M productions. The EP closes lowering the tempo, without compromising the deep feelings, with ‘Jump That Check’, offering listeners a jumble of invigorating keys and rapid-fire vocal samples, reminding Todd Terry old-school style.  The EP is strong and well-executed to achieve 4 pumping dance tracks that bring an upbeat mood.

2. H:O:M – Give It To Me (Original Mix)
3. H:O:M – A’ Detroit (Original)
