The Leeds artist James Orvis gets back on Balter for his second release this year, which is titled “Hold Me Down”.

This single is a playful and wonky synth banger, featuring an Arp2600 and a few DX7 layers to make up a thick grooving synth and a smashing bass arp sequence. It already got support from Idris Elba, Defected, Jaguar – BBC Radio One and many others. Now it’s your turn to enjoy it and lets us know your opinion!

James Orvis is a live Techno musician from Hull/Leeds (UK). James often fuses elements from a variety of underground sub-genres, in a quest to create a sound that is truly his own.

This year, James has consistently released monthly singles, gaining support and coverage from BBC Radio One, BBC Introducing, Bands In Town Big Break, Ampify Music and Music:Leeds.
The singles will form the debut album in 2021, which will include a recorded live performance and visuals.

Balter Records is a Leeds based House & Techno label, created by James Orvis, that focuses on up and coming live acts. With regular releases and live performances from Jinjé (Vessels), Melatron, Geodesy and James Orvis.
