After Vlad Arapasu properly introduced his label Kontent with an amazing release from himself in November 2019, the time has come for the second pressing to be announced, this time with Macarie at the controls. Arriving at the end of this month, the wax features three original tracks designed with twisted sounds and energetic minimal techno rhythms that will surely delight a lot of people on many dancefloors when the scene will return to its normal settings.

Macarie has been really active lately, dropping steaming music through Vivus Records, Cedesciu Wax and Alter Hour, while also publishing quality materials signed by Chrivu and Maifaunu in behalf of his freshly established imprint Midas Touch. His rapid rise in the scene is a direct result of his continuous activity as a DJ and producer, which brought forward distinct minimalistic house and techno sounds throughout time. This pressing is no exception!

💥 Time to get groovy with A2. “Low Pawz” from his upcoming release on Kontent exclusively on feeder sound and explore the other two tracks in more detail.

The cut kicks in with a syncopated drumming sequence and steadily introduces the other layers, growing into a full twisted rhythm in no time. The numerous variations add a perfect balance to the whole while the playful synth notes, melodic insertions and bubbling bassline create an ever-evolving joyous journey.

Side A is also the place where the uplifting vibrations of “Perry” are to be found, with the track going into a dizzying rotation generated by its layers and background textures while on the flipside “Papa Nicolau” reveals a more progressive take on stripped-down techno build with driving percussion, a solid, wobbling bassline as well as generous tension building moments.
