feeder sound 266 mixed by Trixie recorded at Internal Connections
Between the 15th and 17th May, we teamed up with Curtea Veche, Subtil, Unic, OGE, E-Numbers, MINIM Records, Romana Records, Leftback and Meoko for a 36hrs music marathon streamed over the weekend from various locations. Among the DJs and producers who participated in the event we also find Trixie, a young and passionate artist based in The United Kingdom.
Trixie has been on the rise lately, bringing forward hypnotic sets built with groovy percussive cuts, minimal vibes, deep sounds and intricate breakdowns, always looking to create a unique journey for people to enjoy. She loves to collect and play vinyl while also taking her first steps towards production, with a few pieces being already available on her online channels. She’s also the one behind Paralanguage, a platform and event series that aims to create a collective of people who love electronic music, dancing and art as a way to freely express themselves.
Here you can enjoy Trixie‘s set, a magnificent vinyl-only journey into the minimal underground scene.
“For this set I selected a mixture of my most cherished new and old wax. My record collection contains predominantly minimal and micro techno from the UK, Romania and Germany to name a few. I am a huge fan on the Japanese minimal style and this set contained a lot of techno from Japan. I’m in love with the raw, underground stripped back sounds, I get lost on the grooves and the textures and enjoy playing on vinyl most, that’s where you find the gems! It was a pleasure to be a part of Internal Connections.” – Trixie
feeder sound 266 mixed by Trixie reveals an engaging minimalistic sound that can make anyone move his body while also drifting into deep introspective states of mind. Adjust the volume of your speakers and enjoy!
