feeder sound exclusive premiere: Dragosh – Lampone / Africanism

April is almost over and it’s been a month (or maybe even more…) since we’ve been in quarantine here in Romania, time in which we had to adapt to the new lifestyle and keep going with our everyday activities. Artists everywhere embraced the online environment in order to express themselves and proven to be very creative while working from home. This also applies to Dragosh who had the chance to spend a substantial amount of time in the studio and unleash his imagination in order to compose new tracks which now you can listen to only on feeder sound as they remain unreleased (for now).

Based in Italy, Dragosh is a well-known presence on both local and international electronic music scenes, with his selections and productions being highly acclaimed by many people – DJs, producers and party-goers alike. Aside from his own ventures WE or US and Modvlar he also collaborated with Viva Music, Desolat, Brouqade, Memoria Recordings, Paragram, Curtea Veche, No Time For Love, Leftback, Otaku and Unreleased Plattform, bringing forward a distinct and ever-evolving sound throughout time.

💥 Listen to “Lampone” and “Africanism” and see what the artist has to say about what inspired him to create the tracks and what’s the meaning behind them:

Lampone is a blend of melancholic elements and minimal textures. In Italian, lampone means raspberry and I chose this title because it’s one of my favourite fruits and I wanted to combine it with something that brings me back to the sunrise I still keep in mind from Constanta. The track was made during the Covid19 lockdown, a productive lockdown for me.”

“For me, Africanism is going back to the roots. I still remember when I started making music, the influences I had back then were from jazz and African music. In this track, I’ve combined them in a modern key. Classical elements blended with soft percussions. It’s an expression of a lockdown evening.”

Stay tuned to our channels as more surprises are soon to be revealed!
