Archie Hamilton‘s Moscow Records returns with yet another amazing EP titled “Fill Callings”, signed by frequent collaborators Shaun Reeves & Tuccillo. The material provides three fresh tracks and a remix delivered by George Gavanescu aka Floog, well-known for his live performances alongside Livio & Roby as Premiesku.

The protagonists have been releasing music for over a decade with Tuccillo making appearances on Vendetta Records, Ovum Recordings, Inermu Wax, Holic Trax, Djebali, 8bit Records, God Made Us Funky, Roush, whilst Reeves initially burst onto the scene via Raum…Music, Wolf + Lamb, Shantu and One Records before co-founding Visionquest where he still continues to release the bulk of his work. For this venture, they team up with Floog who works his magic on the title track, adding his distinct style to the whole journey. Making music since the late ’90s, George loves everything analogue and has dedicated a lot of time learning how to use various equipment, from synths, drum machines and modular rigs to custom-made hardware racks. His solo productions have been published by labels like Hoarder, Mulen, The Other Side, Atipic, Tartouffe, Vatos Locos and his eponymous imprint as well.

💥 Time to get groovy with his re-interpretation of “Fill Callings” exclusively on feeder sound:

The cut reveals an engaging sound built with pronounced kicks, reverberating snares, a solid bassline and numerous effects and micropatterns. The evolving background textures add brightness to the composition, while the extra thud makes it perfect for the dancefloor.

Opening, we find the original “Fill Callings” a deep and dubby cut designed with a pulsating bassline, skipping hats and metallic whirrs. There’s also a subtle funky feeling embedded into it, making it a very good tool for peak-time moments. Next, “Chaboi” ups the tempo, implementing a compelling groove while melodic chords are joined by various tiny elements that pan throughout the mix. Closing there’s “Anak”, a stripped-back piece with a mean bass, crystalline stabs and murmuring vocals.
