Facundo Mohrr: Top 5 Tracks

Facundo Mohrr is a DJ who’s been on our radar for some time. Part of a new wave of South American DJs beginning to make their name outside of their native country, the Argentinian has recently become a focal point of Lee Burridge’s All Day I Dream parties, for whom he’ll be repping on 7th December in Miami alongside Burridge, YokoO and Roy Rosenfeld. Despite being in his mid-20s, he’s already played in various far-flung corners of the globe, with Tunisia, Russia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Mexico and of course his home country of Argentina among those who’ve sampled his ever-so-enticing wares. Ahead of the aforementioned gig in Miami for All Day I Dream of Art Basel, we quizzed him on his favourite productions of the past twelve months. And as you might imagine, it’s a diverse collection that’s every bit as eclectic as the man’s sets…

DSF – Ammoudia

He is one of my favourite producers of the year… He comes with many surprises as he’s always making something fresh and he’s never afraid to take a risk. This one is an emotional track with incredible vocals.

Zone+ – Those Moments

He always produces super smooth tracks… I chose this one because I love the vocals… the bassline… and it works on every dance floor, every time. So far, the most amazing experience I’ve had while playing this track was at All Day I Dream in Warung. It was an unforgettable moment to see the crowd dancing AT THE TEMPLE ! I think he is the artist who I play the most at my gigs… A “Zone+” playlist in my usb is coming soon !

Enzo sleep – Sangre Y Fuego (Ilario Liburni Flying Love Remix)

I don’t have too much to say as the track speaks for itself once you listen. I love it from start to finish.. It’s  emotional… original… the vocals… the groove… I remember I played this on Saturday morning at Robot Heart this year and it was epic.

Luciano – Canción Mapuche

I closed All Day I Dream in London this summer with the legend Luciano… The vocal and drums here… what else could you want ?  When I want to start to play a little bit darker, I play this… it’s the perfect transition as the night is about to get started.

Rampa – Tell Me We Are

It’s a classic (in my opinion)… it’s a real masterpiece… an emotional and dance floor breaker.
