Our guest for this week’s episode of the feeder sound podcast series will give us a glimpse of the minimal vibrations played in the United States.

Chicago-based Dj and producer, Ari Frank has been active on the electronic dance music scene for quite some time now, always delivering the good vibes through his sounds. From minimal techno and microhouse to driving rhythms, his style brings forward intense narratives, carefully selected or meticulously crafted in the studio. Aside from his residencies at Spybar and Arbella, two of the city’s iconic stomping grounds, he has performed in some of the most well-respected clubs worldwide, including Tresor, Club Der Visionaere, Output, Verboten, 101 Brooklyn, Deli Tel Aviv, Sonoro, Smartbar and TV Lounge, amongst others.

Ari Frank has a diverse catalogue of quality vinyl and digital releases under his belt, having caught the eyes of both renowned and boutique imprints including Visionquest’s digital offshoot Brachtune, Oblack, Half Seas Over, Klectik and Better on Foot. A while back he also co-founded and managed Tied, a local artist collective, party series, label and podcast platform.

Recently, he established Melodeum to function as a vinyl-only imprint, with the first pressing signed by Herck being sold out in just four days on deejay.de while early support came from artists like Raresh, Praslea, Suciu, Mihigh, Nima Gorji, Cezar, Arapu, Crihan, Ryan Crosson and Matthew Dekay.

“Music is who we are, it’s the soul of the universe – do it for the love and spread positivity.” – Ari Frank
