With 4.9k plays and counting, Herck‘s recording was ranked fourth in our Top 10 most played feeder sound podcasts for 2018 and sure stands as an argument for the artist’s versatility. Born in Arad, Sergiu Mario Cilibiu has come a long way with his music, creating a distinct sound which brought him international recognition as being one of the most innovative artists to rise from the Romanian scene.

In his career, Herck collaborated with labels like Curtea Veche, Razom, Muted Noise, Roche Madame, Complatt, Mood 24 Records, Abstrakt Minded Records and Osmosis Audio, while also dispatching numerous remixes and solid pieces on compilations from Natural Rhythm, Tzinah, WaxAtlast, Otomoji and Auroom, to name a few. As a DJ, he delighted people on dancefloors from Romania to Serbia, Latvia, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany and the United Kingdom. His approach to music-making stands out as he incorporates sophisticated minimalistic rhythms with immersive atmospheres and modulations, delivering a remarkable outcome that has been supported by the likes of Petre Inspirescu, Rhadoo, Raresh, Ricardo Villalobos, Barac, Sepp, Arapu, Cosmjn and Dragutesku, among many others. This year, his latest musical adventures were published by Micro Orbit Records, Melodeum and Trick Track Records, with more coming in the near future for sure.

“This set is very special to me, because it’s created with music from friends and people close to me, hope u enjoy it.” – Herck

feeder sound 154 mixed by Herck kicks in with a stripped-down version of Mandar’s “Lawed Mack” which works perfectly as an intro for the set. From here, the selection goes deep and minimal, including tracks such as “Giffgaff” by Cally and “Omnitude” by Triptil, amidst other gems. Turn down the lights, adjust the volume and enjoy this amazing musical journey!
