Franky Wah drops vocal-laced new single ‘Hide’

Yorkshire-based DJ and producer Franky Wah has unveiled his latest track ‘Hide’, out the 27th of September via Ministry Of Sound.

Featuring the delicate vocals of New Zealand singer-songwriter Robinson, ‘Hide’ is an emotive slice of progressive house that again demonstrates Franky’s penchant for trance-inflicted beats.

‘Hide’ follows on from his recent slew of tracks, including the double A-side ‘Love Me/Free’ as well as ‘Words’ and ‘Get Me High’, with the latter climbing to #2 on the Beatport Top 100 after its release in late March. Receiving support from Annie Mac, Danny Howard, Pete Tong and Richie Hawtin, the track catapulted Franky into the limelight almost overnight, with further support coming from Elrow and Steve Lawler’s Viva Music imprint.

With Franky spending most of his time in Ibiza this summer, ‘Love Me’ and ‘Free’ have already made it onto countless White Isle dancefloors, with the likes of Joris Voorn, Gorgon City and Jamie Jones all throwing their support behind the tracks. Elsewhere, US icon and Mad Decent co-founder Diplo has been plugging ‘Free’ on his SiriusXM show, further emphasising its global appeal.

Things have been similarly positive on the gig front, with Franky performing at Creamfields, Hideout and the Glade Spaceport stage at Glastonbury already this summer. He also kicked off September with a slot at Budafest, playing alongside the likes of Fisher, Eats Everything and Mason Maynard, before further dates at Abode In The Park and London’s E1 venue for the Tobacco Dock Afterparty.

Hailing from the city of Nelson, Robinson’s 2018 hit ‘Nothing to Regret’ remains her most successful release to date, reaching the Top 40 in both Australia and New Zealand.

One of the most prolific producers in the scene, ‘Hide’ sees Franky Wah return with yet another highly polished, club-ready hit.
