Hailing from the Southern side of London, Scott Kemp and Josh Wicks are old-time friends and partners behind the decks or in the studio. Their recent endeavours include them teaming-up for the tasks over at LDN Records, the notorious imprint that Scott founded back in 2014. Delivering uncompromised underground music from young talents as well as established artists ever-since, it is time now to explore the lastest release LDNBLK004, a Various Artists compilation that features some hot tracks from Vloon, Sumau, Nicholas Deca and Bar Za, aside from the two.

💥 For this occasion, Scott and Josh prepared two exquisite cuts and we’re more than happy to exclusively feature the full-length “Xion” and “Walking” on feeder sound:

“Xion” reveals itself to be a lush and spacious track, designed with a steady-paced minimalistic rhythm while the background is animated by bright notes and eerie textures. The sounds flow smoothly while tension is built by elegant arrangements, ready to take you for a ride into a mysterious dimension.

“Walking” delivers an uptempo composition with a wobbling effect and a heavy modulated vocal sample in focus that tells the story. The drumming is crisp and clear, while the solid bassline perfectly compliments the atmospheres, rolling with a steaming reverberation.

Consistently showcasing his fantastic DJ skills, there is no doubt that Scott Kemp is also a natural-born producer, with works published by labels like Hypertone Records, Mobilee, Novus, Wiggle Records, Baile Musik, Decay Records, Earlydub and Deep Tech Records aside from those dispatched through his own playground. Here, he collaborated with artists like Xandru, Lumieux, Zefzeed, Nu Zau, Vid, Rowlanz and Josh Wicks, known for his LDN006 and VRV001. We’re pretty sure that more is stored for the future so stay tuned!
