The freshly established Romanian record label Dynastique presents its first vinyl-only release signed by local rising talent Rares Romanov. The 12” is titled DYNASTIQUE001 and features three original cuts designed with amazing minimal rhythms that will sweep the frequencies on any dancefloor. The pressing arrives in a limited number of copies, so make sure you grab yours in time.

Rares Romanov is a DJ and producer that stands out in the new wave of artists coming from our country, always delivering memorable selections at parties and top-quality materials when it comes to music-making. His distinct approach to modern electronic dance music gained him a lot of support from renowned names in the scene, as well as from people who enjoy his sets. Throughout time, he collaborated with imprints like Cisne Negro Records, Shaped Records, Vandalism Black Series, Unfelde Records, OuiOui Concept, Skull And Bones and Na Zrak Records. He also dispatched several independent materials on his Bandcamp page, while he shared the decks with artists like Tulbure, Sorin Milea, Mihai Pol, Sepp, Nu Zau, Livio & Roby, Cap, Dubphone, Floog, CGeorge, Cr15tina and others. From time to time, you can catch him mixing alongside Asenn under the Romenn alias.

With autumn knocking at our door, we are very excited to exclusively premiere A1, “Dupa Ploi”, a very groovy track that will keep us connected with the summer vibes, that have yet come to pass:

The composition reveals itself layer by layer, slowly expanding into a full-blown carousel of twisted arrangements, intricate glitching and effects that flow at a steady pace with the uplifting percussion. Flavoured with reverberating notes and melodic sequences, the cut exhibits an energetic vibration that will make you move your body in no time.

On Side B we first find “Skinny Hustler”, a deeper and darker track infused with gloomy vocal samples and eerie undertones. The atmosphere is powered by a solid bassline and heavy rotating patterns, bringing forward a feeling which is passed to the closing track “Twilight”. Here, we dive into a mysterious sound dimension constructed with long evolving pads, quirky textures and raw synth strokes. A polished journey into minimalistic rhythms, the whole EP stands as a solid argument for the artist’s skills and vision, while also marking a strong debut for Dynastique.
