Faster – Sursa Delicata EP [No Time For Love]

No Time For Love presents its fifth instalment in the form of “Sursa Delicata EP” dropped by one of the finest Romanian sound representatives, Faster. The 12” features three fresh and engaging minimalistic house cuts while the pressing is limited to only 300 copies. The release follows the imprint’s modern vision on electronic music, bringing forward a unique minimal sound, best enjoyed with the volume up.

Based somewhere in Barcelona, No Time For Love was born from the need of telling something new in the vibrant international underground techno culture. The label delivered amazing works from artists like Iuly.B, Third Child, Silat Beksi, Kaitaro, Gabriele Mancino, Vid aka Egal 3, DoubtingThomas and Dragosh, connecting bridges between DJs, music producers and enthusiasts alike.

Laurentiu Suciu aka Faster is a well-known figure in the scene, dedicated to mixing and production for quite some time now. He started at an early age and followed an ascending path ever since, always exploring new sounds and possibilities. His creativity is endless and this brought him support from established artists like Rhadoo, Cristi Cons, Thomas Melchior, Ricardo Villalobos, Barac, and many many others. In 2015 he founds Ruere Records, where he dispatches three EPs signed by himself, followed by some solid materials from Costin Rp, Sepp under his Brind alias, Priku and Discret Popescu aka Crihan. Aside from his own playground, he also collaborates with imprints like Kurbits Records, Chelsea Hotel Records, Hourglass Ltd, Acmé, Drumma Records, Atipic, The Other Side, to name a few.

On Side A we find the title track “Sursa Delicata”, a dynamic track flavoured with melodic bright pads, deep textures and beautiful reverberations. The percussion rolls along with the funky bassline with a steaming power, maintaining an uplifting tempo while the background slowly drips in colours. On the flipside, B1 “Take A Spike”, reveals a heavy-modulated composition that spins into a hypnotic pattern of percussive elements, effects, bleeps and glitches, while B2 “Rim Dim” closes the wax with style. With a growling force in focus and with darker notes to compliment the setting, the cut calls for dancing with the lights set to a dim surrounding.
