feeder sound exclusive premiere: Modebaku & Banyn – Endless (Lumieux Remix) [The Senss]

The second pressing coming from the Australian imprint The Senss enlists Dialogue Sound London originators Modebaku and Banyn. The pair has certainly been busy of late, both curating events in the cityÔÇÖs underground and diving headfirst into the studio. No doubt inspired by the sonic melting pot London continues to be, they deliver their “August to April EP” featuring two polished original cuts aimed squarely at the dancefloor and topped off with stellar remixes by Romanian heavyweights Lumieux and Triptil. With Cerec behind their first release, the label continues to spread carefully crafted electronic dance music while also running their podcast series and track premieres.

Owner and co-founder at Hoxton Records, Modebaku is well-known for his deep and minimal sound embedded in his productions and selections. Aside from his solo work he also collaborated a lot with Ted Amber and dispatched music with Deep Tech Records, Yoruba Grooves, DubGestion, Teleport Records and others. For TS002 he teams up with rising selector and producer Banyn, from which we will hear more production coming soon for sure. On remix duties, we find Triptil and Lumieux and we’re more than happy to exclusively premiere Razvan’s re-work on A1 “Endless” on feeder sound.

The cut opens the B-Side, revealing a stripped-down edit of the original, infused with a deep minimal touch, solid modulations and filtered textures. The rhythm receives a groovy balanced dimension with the help of some gritty vocal samples, sharp hi-hats and an ever-evolving background pattern.

On Side A, we find the original “Endless” and “Around”, two melodic compositions defined by complex harmonics, clear percussion, strong basslines, amazing bright pads and subtly glitched voices. Both tracks offer a spacious atmosphere as well as engaging beats and summer-like feelings. On Side B, Triptil‘s remix brings another bassline pattern and fresh textures into focus while keeping a steady paced tempo. Another collectable right here, so make sure this ends up in your record bag!
