Emanuel Mija aka Emi is a well-known presence in the electronic dance music scene for quite some time now and a name associated with the underground projects Ritmico alongside Suciu and The Future Future Sound with Dan Andrei. In 2013 he founded his own playground Contur where he published his works using aliases like Emi Nescu and Visullucid.

He also collaborated with labels like Catren, Undefined Music and Stablo, delivering top-notch productions that delighted lots of people on dancefloors around the world. As both selector and music maker, he always brings forward beautiful selections, smooth cuts and remixes embedded with a distinct touch. His sound is dense, without hindering the atmosphere and light, without lacking substance. An unreal musical landscape where time runs a little slower.

His latest adventures this year include performances at 3 Smoked Olives Island Festival, Waha Festival, Off Week Festival Barcelona and SW25, as well as numerous gigs where he shared the decks with Rhadoo, Petre Inspirescu, Raresh, Derek, Barac and Kozo, to name a few. Catch Emi spinning at the upcoming 7th edition of the Dancing Mountains event series taking place in Rasnov starting with August 30th.
