Junk-E-Cat set to release Levitation EP on July 26th, 2019 via label Mutterkomplex

Junk-E-cat gives us the opportunity to delve deeper into his track Levitation, taken from his first EP KREATUR. The dark yet uplifting track hovers between a hot summer evening and the first light of morning at the end. The mysterious commanding voice asks “Have you kissed the ceiling?” and tells us to “Rise” into a new morning sky accompanied by junk-E-cat’s unique swirling world of bass clarinet and alto sax. This four track single offering allows us to hear the same story from different unique perspectives.

With a focus on the warm and satisfying tone created by junk-E-cat’s wood-wind performance, Polly Powders remix plays the game of alternating the instrumental parts with a deep and straight groove. The tension of this play creates the journey of this remix which makes you float and dance one after another.

Lavid’s remix gives ‘Levitation’ a fresh new summer groove. He adds a punchy synth bass line and sparkling percussive elements to junk-E-cat’s dark uplifting track.
