Boding set to release Bagefter EP on August 29th, 2019 via label Pattern Abuse
Bagefter is the debut EP of 20-year-old Danish composer Boding. The five different tracks represent an approach to making music like throwing paint onto a canvas – turning off the conscious mind and only evaluating the work afterwards.
This gives meaning to the album title Bagefter, which means afterwards in Danish.
The EP starts with light, pensive and atmospheric ambient, but progresses deeper and darker, and ending with the breathtaking intensity of “Jeg ved det ikke engang selv”, which just manages to balance on the edge of abstract noise.
