feeder sound exclusive premiere: Peshka – Degenerate

Ukrainian artist Mark Fevralsky aka Peshka returns with another independent material on his Bandcamp page, revealing three previously unreleased tracks in the form of “Relic Of The Past EP”. Designed with deep and engaging rhythms, the tracks are already enjoying support from Recordeep, Storytellers, Ufo Beats, Christopher Ledger, Prichindel and others.

Mark was already a dedicated musician when he created the Peshka project (Pawn in English) in 2014, influenced by the effects of the war that sparked in Eastern Ukraine. Wanting to express his thoughts differently, he brought forward several productions, ranging from industrial techno to atmospheric minimal, dub and deep house. He worked with labels like Body Parts, Crocus, Susur, Inwave, Banoffee Pies, Lyssna Records, High-Jack, Minim.all, Whoyostro LTD and Re.Face Limited, where he dropped his first solo vinyl “Mood EP” backed-up by remixes from Vincentiulian and Vendi. Recently, his second solo 12” titled “Pleasant Pain EP” was dispatched with Amam Records.

Although “Relic Of The Past EP” features older compositions, the tracks definitely pass the test of time, as they still sound modern and groovy. The subtle acid and progressive patterns spice-up the EP, while the background atmospheres keep it balanced and dynamic. Listen to the full-length cut “Degenerate” exclusively on feeder sound:

The track builds itself by slowly introducing to its core layers, only to evolve and undergo multiple variations. The minimalistic percussion flows at a steady pace, while the texturing is reverberating with deep, ethereal notes and vocal samples.

The other two tracks are more uplifting, with “Late Night Mistake” bringing forward a smooth deep house vibe and “Moonside Echo’s” having a strong progressive influence. Both are energetic and introduce to amazing modulations while keeping an elegant old-school flavour.
