Noemi Vlad became Vlad Ivva when the magic of electronic dance music got a grip on her while spinning records at a friend’s house in Bucharest some time ago. Gradually experimenting with various genres, styles and techniques, she soon learned that she had to balance being both a producer and a DJ, as the two complete each other. Her sound incorporates groovy shades of minimal, microhouse and deep tech with her productions and selections always being carefully crafted. She believes in the details of sounds and tunes them with fine abstract notes, hypnotic sequences and eerie vocal samples. Take all this and set it up in sync with some crazy visuals and here’s how you add a mystical feeling to the party.
Passionate about music and dance since she was a child, it was natural for Vlad Ivva to make herself more and more noticed, performing at numerous parties and festivals like Electric Castle and Sunwaves. She shared the booth with artists like Alci, Cosmjn, Random Brandon, Mihigh, Melodie, Cap, Arapu and many others, proving that she’s very talented and dedicated to her work. The productions she sometimes drops here and there, as well as on her online profiles speak for themselves and enjoy support in the Romanian underground scene. Who knows, maybe one day we’ll see an official pressing somewhere. Stay tuned!
