feeder jukebox #21 selected by Zambiancki
Francesco Zambianchi aka Zambiancki is an Italian electronic musician and performer who makes and studies music since he was a teenager. He made his debut on Conceptual Records in 2018 with “South Speaking EP” and now he’s releasing music on labels like Vandalism Music Group, Razom, Arcenciel Recordings and Jambutek. He also recorded delightful podcasts for several platforms including The Void, Borderless Project and DEEP MVMT.
Zambiancki played as a Dj in Rome’s underground scene before moving to Amsterdam in May 2019, perfecting his style and techniques. His sound brings forward an elegant fusion between various subgenres of house, techno and minimalistic music, with deep and melodic patterns included in the compositions. He also works on research projects in the field of sound, motion and acoustics that involve moving images and installations.
“Music is something too close to be seen. It whispers directly to my sense of home and belonging. That closeness creates a space of intimacy. I’ve been dancing for this podcast: from meditation to funk and back again. When I’m DJ-jing, music’s space changes and evolves for those who are immersed. That change makes us dive through a continuously renewing sound environment.” – Zambiancki
