After one year of preparations the vinyl-only record label and unique party platform, Forever And A Day presents its first pressing signed by the imprint’s resident, London-based DJ and producer Azire. Titled “Monteschia Vidalii EP” the wax features four original cuts and a Deconstruction Mix delivered by local artist Vid. Known for their amazing series of parties organised in London, founding an imprint was a natural step for the crew behind Forever And A Day. The tracks are amazing for peak dancefloor action whether it goes down at a sunny festival or in a dark, intimate warehouse.

With releases on Whoyostro, Pleasure In Mind, True Tribe, BeeYou Records and OuiOui, Azire is an enigmatic yet rising presence in the underground scene. A skilled selector and a dedicated music-maker with a steadily growing repertoire, his style incorporates shades of minimal techno and microhouse carefully blended with mesmerising melodies and textures. For this EP he invites Vid to work his magic on one of the tracks and add even more far-out arrangements and sounds. Well known for his releases on Brouqade, Otaku, Sound Of Vast, Abartik, Pleasure Zone, No Time For Love and Memoria, to name just a few, the head of An|dromeda is a forward-thinking artist with a well-deserved seat amongst the best electronic dance music producers.

“We can all groove with it”,“From London” to all over the world! That’s how Side A sets the pace of the 12”. The cut brings forward an engaging, classy house sound designed with a heavy bassline, phat percussion and alluring vocal samples. Next, “Just Breathe” builds itself layer by layer, morphing from a steady composition to an uplifting carousel of percussive elements and subtle background patterns. On the flipside, “Unheard Of” reveals a darker atmosphere, with solid sub-bass, haunting jungle tones and animal chants swirling around the core rhythm. The closing track goes even further down the dark spiral with Vid breaking down the original B1 into a very trippy sound dimension infused with complex effects and throbbing sequences.
