feeder sound exclusive premiere: Dragosh – Bati Bati [Modvlar Records]
Born from an idea coming from the Modvlar party headmasters, Modvlar Records aims to deliver quality music provided by the crew and their guest to electronic music lovers worldwide. The party is managed between Switzerland and Italy, as well as other locations from time to time, bringing forward a true underground sound dispatched by emerging artists and renowned names alike. Collaborating with numerous DJs and producers over the years, the transition to a label was natural. The first release stands as an argument for the brand’s vision on modern music, focusing on the people around the globe that want to party.
MOD001 features four artists with different musical backgrounds from three countries packed in one hot first pressing. Four massive dancefloor-oriented cuts melting into a precise hypnotic sound. Already enjoying support all around, Australian Monika Ross, Italians Nobodi and Nomo.ar, together with Romanian Dragosh will spin your head with this 12″.
As the official release date is just around the corner, we are excited to exclusively premiere the full-length track that Dragosh designed for this VA, titled “Bati Bati”. Accustomed to the groovy and melodic productions that he delivered over the years with labels like Leftback, No Time For Love, Curtea Veche, Otaku and Memoria, to name a few, this cut makes no exception. Crafted in his distinct style, the track opens Side A of the wax setting the vibe on party mode and carefully adding to the concept behind the imprint.
“Modvlar is an energy in motion or how we call it Emotion!” – Dragosh
The track unfolds as a bouncy house-infused rhythm, spiced with exotic delayed synths and playful notes. The crisp percussion is emphasised by the grainy hi-hats while the bassline blends in smoothly, adding a strong vibration on the low frequencies. A melodic groover, this will make you want to move your body! Pre-order the VA on deejay.de.
