Get ready to be inspired by this week’s podcast, as our guest delivers a steaming collection of sounds, empowered by the ever-expanding electronic music culture in Eastern Europe.
Coming from Minsk, Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashevich aka Lucarelli is a true music lover, vinyl collector and DJ. He loves to spend time with his friends spinning wax and digging for extraordinary music that comes from the underground. His record bag will always surprise and deliver energy, as his selections can be heard at numerous parties in his hometown and on podcast series like Batik Music, The Red Skull, Apotek, 4pe4 and, of course, here on feeder. He is also a part of the P14 team involved in event planning and recording videos of performing artists from around the world, like Tolga Top, Bvoice, Anrilov, Tripmastaz, Anton Kubikov and many many others.
At the moment, Lucarelli is preparing to launch a series of parties to introduce his hometown Minsk to artists from different countries in Europe representing the minimalist sound of electronic music. This can only indicate the fact that there’s a growing cultural movement focused on house and techno music. Therefore, his music delivers intense feelings in the shape of a deep house, minimal tech, atmospheric and pumping rhythms.
“I thank the portal feeder.ro for the great opportunity to share with you my mix which consists of the tracks that most impressed me this summer. Most of them were released not so long ago or not at all. Have a nice trip!” – Lucarelli
feeder sound 183 mixed by Lucarelli kicks in with Mihai Pol‘s “Quasar” which can only mean to prepare yourself for an introspective and groovy musical journey. The sounds evolve with elegance in a steady pace delivered by the techy rhythms that follow. Going from melodic minimalistic compositions to more uplifting moments, the mix gently flows as the build-ups are created with a lot of attention to details. A strong influence by the Romanian sound of techno can also be noticed at the ending, as the final track is the re-interpretation of The Doors’ “Riders On The Storm” signed by local artist Matje.
