ALEXIS CABRERA – 21 EP WITH REMIX BY FABE
Well known and firmly established as an outlet for high-quality house and techno, Ray Okpara’s AMA Recordings proudly presents the 38th release on the label, featuring another known Argentinian artist Alexis Cabrera from Fun Records and Belisa Booking.
‘21’ is the title track on the EP. Rolls out in a deep, warm affair with love to the low-down- groove-bassline. All these little percussive pads and synth modulated wiggles bring plenty of dynamic movement to the loopy drums below. Reduced tool which never gets boring.
‘Fris B’ – takes you on a hypnotic ride. Modern and great at sound and keeps building up all the time.
A rolling slice of minimal-micro-house which we like. Enjoy the trip into the groove!
‘For Zou’ – sweeping melody and a punchy kick rock this atmospheric groover. A lot more percussions in this one and filled much more but it’s the same flow which keeps dancers dancing and tool heads happy.
’21 (Fabe Rmx)‘ – Mannheims next generation. Fabe changes the original version into a completely nu story. From beginning til the end, the perfectly placed chords and pads build the magical tune-ride. The long streached bassline, boomb drums and nice vocal cuts in the break give us just the right amount of spice to keep the groove kicking!
This EP just keeps rocking till the end. Try not to dance!
