Brind – La Relanteu [Windmühle]
Windmühle presents its second release, some exquisite material signed by Romanian artist Brind, a moniker of somebody we all know from his works on UVAR and Pelerin, also known in certain circles as Ban Ditman, a friend of both classical influences and soundly crafted electronica. Titled “La Relanteu”, this EP explores deeper and more head-nodding rhythms. These 2 gems have already been supported by Romanian house pioneers!
“La Conac” is an airy, almost light-headed track. A cheerful invitation to dance, with an easy touch of introspection. On the flipside, “La Peles” is an entrancing twelve-minute, hymn-like track, with a folk-ish melodic line. Deep sounds and intricate layering of percussion make both tracks stand out, as the pads and synth cuts flow along with the mesmerizing rhythms.
