Various – Unami Part 1 [Savor Music]

Argentinian record label Savor Music is back with Unami Part 1, a compilation that is thought to be the first of a series of three releases, exclusively on vinyl. The leading forces behind the project are Cape and Jorge Savoretti, both natives of the city of Rosario.

Gathering artists from all around the world, the label released over 200 EPs, LPs and VAs, thus having an impressive catalogue and a strong presence in the international electronic music scene.

This VA delivers a colourful sound palette shaped around minimal and deep techy rhythms provided by world–renowned producers. Enjoy the flavours!

Side A features “In White“, a mesmerizing dubby journey signed by Priku, with wobbly bassline, long delayed pads and synth effects merged perfectly into a driving and hypnotic sequence. One of the most important names in Romanian electronic music scene, Adrian Niculae a.k.a. Priku, is always delivering state of the art sounds and moods through his music. It is easy to associate him with [a:rpia:r], Motif, Atipic, Fabric, Cocoon or EASTENDERZ, where earlier this year his second collaboration with the label resulted in the release of Endz014 EP, which we reviewed here.

On Side B we have Ernesto Ferreyra‘s “Secret“, a minimalistic take, with soft and sensitive pads and cuts that blend into an elegant groovy rhythm and Iuly.B‘s “Wave Vector“, with a dreamy atmospheric presence enveloping synth lines and giving solid energy to the percussion layers, thus creating a punchy feeling that makes this track perfect for a trance-like state of dancing.
