The second release by UK based Depiction Records, founded by Adam Coley & Lee Daines, is a Various Artists selection featuring 4 deep and minimalistic tech house tracks.
Dafoe & Amin Ravelle open side A with “One De Mag“, a wobbly and deep tech sequence, with long twisted pads and modulations here and there adding to the piece. It is not the first time the two are collaborating and yet again they deliver another beautiful and minimalisitic groove. The greek producer Drana is next with “Vuloma“, a pumping tune with glitched bass cuts and synth effects added to the rolling rhythm of the percussion. On side B, the french duo Indeëd feature “Super Clap“, an uptempo composition with intense drumming and deep house influenced vocal cuts and bassline while Coley & Daines “Keep It Simple“, closing the VA with a very deep and dreamy track, with long breaks and build-ups, perfect for afterhours play time.
