Robert Dietz releases ‘Sound Design’ EP on Gerd Jansons, Misfit Melodies

Robert Dietz returns with a monster 4 track EP on Misfit Melodies, a label run by the German label boss and sought after selector, Gerd Janson. This release follows Dietz’s EPs on Misfit Melodies’ Parent Label ‘Running Back‘ in late 2008, and again in 2013. ‘Sound Design’ sees Dietz stay true to that previous production style, delivering House music with that peak time pace, a style and sound that is crafted solely for the dance floor.

Pharmacy‘ and ‘Telepathic People‘ make up the A side of the Sound Design release. ‘Pharmacy’ sets the tone with its hectic yet harmonious layer of chords. ‘Telepathic People’ falls lighter on the senses with its deeper notes and occasional high hats. ‘Bone Apple Tea’ and ‘I’m Sorry For What I Said When I Was Hungry‘ complete the EP by bringing you straight back to the main room, giving two stand alone house records that suggest why Janson compares Dietz’s production style to that of dance music icon – Todd Terry.

”The motivation is to become better and better in what I’m doing every day, no matter if it comes to music or being a better human being. It’s important for me to progress constantly and also being hungry for inspiration and share my visions. Also to be able to express myself through music and make people happy with it.” – feeder insider with Robert Dietz
