Dubsons & VSA – Perceptions
Vinyl Speed Adjust come back with Perceptions – the second installment of their label of the same name. After two acid cuts on VSA001, this time the guys have invited Dubsons to bring a more minimal approach with their own track on this one.
When we create we don’t follow a particular algorithm, sometimes everything starts from a simple idea which evolves in tune with our feelings; other times we have a recording session where we use the machines and adjust everything for the final result. – feeder insider w/ Vinyl Speed Adjust
Kicking things off are Dubsons with their Luci track. It has a minimal feeling all over it and the dim grooves and whispering hypnotic vocals will get you thinking of a dark room in a small club somewhere.
Label heads Vinyl Speed Adjust are up next and you can feel the change in style from the start. Raw and pure techno vibes intertwined with a heavy and fast bass line will get your feet moving instantly. The trippy groove goes hand in hand with some surprising background sounds that pop in to create a sense of the unexpected. This is quite a journey.
