Next week on 26th on May, Translucent will get ”Down” for his new release on Miami’s PetFood Recordings. Till then we are super happy to announce that this weekend you can have a first listen of the track ”Down” full length on feeder. 🙂
U.S. based Translucent’s love affair with music began in middle school, when he started studying the trumpet, the instrument that would stick with him along the way and help him create his signature style – a mixture of tech-house and live trumpet interventions, lots of improvisation and fresh rhythms.

He’s been collaborating with talented artists and producing awesome songs with Danny Daze on Kompakt’s Speicher 80 (charted Top 10 on Beatport‘s Techno chart). This is his second collaboration with Danny Daze, and their former track, Beatdown, was remixed by Jimmy Edgar.
“Summer is almost here, and I wanted to offer up a few tunes for both the dancefloor and the DJ mixes. The tracks will also be used as a back-drop for live trumpet performances that I plan to make a video series with. I sent the tracks over to Petfood and they picked up ‘Bang‘ and ‘Down‘ right away. Always a good feeling to receive such a nice reception. I know Lazaro Casanova from when I was living in Miami, and have always been taken with his and Danny Daze’s of mixing. Really reminded me of my own thought process when it comes to music.” – Translucent on thump
His unique stylings can be heard on Kompakt and Nervous records. He’s featured on Ultra Majic and has played trumpet on Classic, Hot Creations and Guidance recordings.
