Happy Easter!

The latest collaborative effort for END clothing is with the famous japanese footwear brand Onitsuka Tiger. They united their energies in order to create a really cool themed-sneaker that not only comes with well-thought details, but also with a special packaging.

The symbol of this collaboration is the feather, found not only on the back of the shoes but also featured in the packaging. The concept revolved around the wildlife found in Colorado, home of 3 different species of Blue Bird.

The packaging is the one that made us love these sneakers even more. It is extremely well thought, with the type of attention to details that can only be found in a collaborative effort. The box is white and sturdy, featuring the END Clothing x Onitsuka Tiger logos, the symbol of this collaboration – the feather – and a small sticker that states ‘Friends and family’. After you remove the lid, the feather printed paper makes you better understand the concept of their collaboration. Shortly after removing this final layer we finally found the sneakers. Two polka-dotted small eggs in matching colorways that hold two pairs of laces are also found in the box accompanied by a sincere personal ‘Thank you’ note.

Material and colour wise, the suede leather is smooth and the shades of blue are pleasant ones that can be easily assorted with a simple outfit. The 3M touches – on the laces and on the signature Onitsuka stripes – transform the sneakers into a pair that may seem simple into one that easily grabs the attention. The interior of the shoe is textile covered, making it confortable and breathable for a long walk during the spring or summer. Another touch that I love is the insole, which comes with the feather print and the END Clothing logo. However, I would consider using a suede protector in order to keep the sneakers crisp and the suede leather clean.

END clothing made a special in-store launch for them 2 days prior the online release, giving a chance to the eager buyers to secure their pairs in hand. The sneakers sold out online in less than 20 minutes, another proof that this was a successful collab.

Finally, the whole collaboration was an ambitios project started by END Clothing, with the aims of creating an original pair of sneakers based on a shape heavily associated with Kill Bill.
