She is colorful and exciting, wild and eccentric. JESSIE EVANS is the new bird of paradise on the planet pop. And it’s more than just music, as the flamboyant live performance is her true passion! Originally coming from California, JESSIE lives and works in Berlin now. Before her solo career started with IS IT FIRE? she collaborated as a singer and saxophonist with groups and artists such as Hanin Elias (Atari Teenage Riot),
Bettina Köster (Malaria!) and Glass Candy (USA).
As her partner in crime on the current album and the upcoming tour, she puts her faith in the powerful support
of legendary drummer TOBY DAMMIT (also known as Larry Mullins), a man with breathtaking collaborations: Iggy Pop, Stephan Eicher, Swans, Lydia Lunch and The Residents! The sound of JESSIE and TOBY is always spine-tingling and very danceable. And for a full kick-in effect, a second percussionist, Debora Saraiva, joins them especially for the Bucharest show.
