Ghostpoet (born Obaro Ejimiwe, 18 January 1983) is a British singer and producer. In June 2010, Ghostpoet released his first EP The Sound Of Strangers on Brownswood Recordings and was later featured in The Guardian’s “New Band Of The Day”. In 2011, he supported Metronomy and Jamie Woon in their tours and performed at Glastonbury, Sónar, Latitude, Secret Garden Party and Bestival among others.
His articulated production sounds naturally compatible with the vocals that mark the emotional atmosphere of his music. Ghostpoet`s feel leaves the very wide genre of electronic, mainly because the instrumentals and again vocals tend to particularize a very personal and intriguing sound.
Ghostpoet will be playing a DJ set Sat, April 6th, at BASM, Zborului 2.
