Andreas Dimitriadis aka And.ID is Greek native, but today is a Berlin based musician. He is a huge music collector raised on jazz by his father, and since young age he was totally surrounded by music, studying and composing it for films.
And.ID has released music on labels such as Get Physical, 2020 Vision or mobilee records. But for this release, And.ID connected with the guys from Extravaganza and it seems like a match made in heaven.
Depending on the venue and the audience, the music I play varies. On a rooftop the music differs from what I will play in a dark club. There is no key for being a dj apart from the basic technical skills, I am trying to combine tunes I like, creating a nice atmosphere for people to get together and dance. – feeder insider w/ And.ID
His tender and stylish approach to music really comes out in the open on EXTZ022. It is a perfect release for dance floors all over the world. Groovy and it can give you energy when you need it.
The EP begins with “Elektra“. Here you can easily be charmed away by the beautiful but subtile sound of the drums kicking in while a strong layer of bass makes for a perfect blend. There’s a unity in this track’s sound that makes it so straightforward for dancers and DJs alike.
Next up is “Restless” and you can’t get any rest during this one. You can sense the tribal beats as you enter deeper into the sound. It is a beautiful and modern interpretation of house music filled with breaks, psychedelic synths and a bass that kick in just at the right moment.
The last stop is “Acidalia“. Well, this is truly the whole package. Acid sounds, seductive vocals, a thrilling bassline and a deep feeling all over the track. It really is a journey this one so buy the ticket and take the ride.
