This is the first documentary produced by Veioza ARTE, about Vaslui, a small Romanian town which inspired some of the awarded Romanian movies, in Cannes Film Festival – “12.08 East of Bucharest” and “Police, adjective”, both directed by Corneliu Porumboiu. [with english subtitles]

Festivalul International de Film Independent ANONIMUL, editia a VI-a, va avea loc in perioada 10-16 august 2009, la Sfantu Gheorghe, in Delta Dunarii.

Festivalul se deschide luni, 10 august, cu proiectia in premiera in Romania a celui mai recent film al regizorului spaniol Pedro Almodovar, LOS ABRAZOS ROTOS/ BROKEN EMBRACES. Aflat in Competitia Oficiala a Festivalului de la Cannes anul acesta, filmul o are in rolul principal pe actrita Penelope Cruz.

2 WEEKS TO SPIRIT OF BURGAS BEACH FESTIVAL

Taking place from 14-16 August and located on the picture-perfect white sands of the city’s central beach, SPIRIT of Burgas was named one of the Top 20 European Music Festivals for 2009 in The Times and was previously nominated Best European Festival at the Virtual Festival Awards. Acts confirmed so far include; Faith No More, Fun Lovin’ Criminals, Crystal Method, Dreadzone, Clawfinger, Gravity Co, LTJ Bukem feat.
